Approaching 200,000!

Check out the meter at the bottom of this blog page -- it will hit the 200,000 mark today! Either a lot of people have been reading this blog or a few people are visiting the site an astronomical number of times. I prefer to believe the former.
Those of you who have been following for a while know what this kind of milestone brings -- another raffle for the print copy of one of my books.
Respond to this post and tell me which book you'd like (sorry, the upcoming Scarf Style 2 is not eligible -- it won't be available until this summer) and why (it helps me know what appeals to readers). I'll use a random number generator to draw a winner Wednesday morning. I'll then post the winner on a separate post. If I don't hear back from the winner within three days, I'll draw another winner, and so on.
Good luck!

  1. What a great milestone!
Should I be lucky, I would love a copy of Sock Knitting Master Class. I love the idea of a book that will give me the basics and beyond then encourage me to expand and design my own. Socks are always so much fun to knit.

I think you have so many followers because you have good practical advice, and I always enjoy the personal look into your life. have some of your books, but would enjoy the Top Down Sweaters because the one top down pattern I made turned out so well and I would like to do more of them. 12. I would definitely want Sock Knitting Master Class, I knit a lot of socks and colorwork and cables but combining all of them is something I have yet to do and I tend to stick to my sock toe and heel formula, this would make me expand!

  23. Congratulations on your milestone! I visit your site often, but don't comment a lot; I bet many others do the same.

If I had to choose one of your books, I would pick "The Knitter's Handy Book of Patterns". I take it out of the library all the time because it has so many basic, but well-thought-out designs. I'm not big on "fashion" knits because they go out of style so quickly. And, although I'm not math phobic, I have to love a book that does the calculating for me.
